At A Glance: A true sleeper state, Vermont has a high density of wild turkeys, making it a state all hunters should give a try.  With 50,000 birds, Vermont turkey hunters are sure to break daylight with numerous gobbling turkeys around them.  Much of the state had a strong hatch in 2010 due to favorable conditions, so vocal two year old gobblers should be readily available.
