Mossy Oak Properties heads north to Alaska

Kenai, AK-Mossy Oak Properties is pleased to announce it has teamed up with Alaska Realty Group to form Mossy Oak Properties of Alaska, whose first real estate brokerage will be located in Kenai.  Mossy Oak Properties of Alaska has plans to open more brokerages throughout the state, according to their president and broker Kathy Chircop.

“We are very excited to be a part of the Mossy Oak Properties team.  Our plans are to bring Mossy Oak Properties and Alaska together, as they really do fit each other hand and hand,” said Chircop.  “Alaska is best known for its abundance of pristine hunting and fishing ground.  My team and I are all outdoors enthusiasts that love the outdoors lifestyle.  We know the types of properties outdoors enthusiasts are looking for, and the added marketing exposure of the Mossy Oak Properties brand will allow us to be the statewide leader in recreational property sales.”

Chircop indicated the Alaskan economy was not hit as severely by the recent recession as the majority of the US.  “Our large oil industry, combined with tourism, insulated us somewhat from the recession.  The Kenai Peninsula, where our first office will be located, is such a draw for hunting and fishing enthusiasts, thanks in part to the world renowned Kenai River and its excellent fishing.  The world record King Salmon, at 92 pounds, was caught just minutes away from our office, and the world record Halibut at 466 pounds was caught just an hour away.  Annually, over 1.5 million tourists visit Alaska.  If you are looking to buy, sell, or vacation in our beautiful state, please feel free to contact the Mossy Oak Properties of Alaska team.”

Chris Hawley, Co-Founder and CEO/President of Mossy Oak Properties, Inc. voiced his excitement by saying: “The inception of Mossy Oak Properties of Alaska signifies a major milestone in our companies’ history.  Few states symbolize the outdoor lifestyle we cherish here at the Mossy Oak family of companies like the state of Alaska.  Kathy and her team know the Alaska recreational property market, and our combined efforts should create a win-win for all parties.  We welcome them to our family with open arms and look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Mossy Oak Properties of Alaska.”
